Need Reccomendations: Weekend Workout?

  • So I currently work out M-Tu-W-Th, alternating cardio and weight lifting, and I feel like I am short-changing myself of three days that could really make a difference in weight loss.

However, I prefer working out at the gym but my gym is over an hour away near my work. I don't want to make that communte on the weekends if I can save on gas and car mileage.

So I am hoping someone can reccomend a good plyometrics work out? Along with some general home/weekend exercise motivation advice? I find that when I am home I just have no desire to do anything that requires effort.

    Thanks!
  • How about just doing something fun: dancing around the house to favorite music, taking a walk or bike ride, yoga, etc.
I'm not fond of plyometrics, but I'm sure you can find something on youtube to get some ideas.
  • My problem is I am never alone in my house and, when I am home exercising, I feel like an elephant who is going to collapse the house. >_<
  • tabata - takes four minutes per session.

add a pair of dumbbells or resistance bands to really pack some oomph.

best done on friday as you'll need the recovery time.
