Default Full body weight training?

I've had 2 people in the last few days tell me I should start. From what I've heard about it, I probably should. I've been sinking all my time into cardio, and I don't want to end up really loose and flabby. But my problem is I don't really have any tools at home, or the time and money for a gym membership.

I have one of those recumbant bikes and some free weights. Is there anything weight-training wise I can do with those free weights? I'm not sure where to begin, all I imagine is doing curls. I know I'm being ignorant, but I just don't understand it and I'd like to. If I need to purchase some simple stuff later on that's fine, but I don't want to spend a ton of money, and would like to have atleast one option of something i can do at home, now.

I have just started "New Rules of Lifting for Women" as I had noticed alot of women here talking about it and thought I would give it a try. You can check out a thread on it here: New Rules of Weight Lifting - Anyone doing it now?

Yes, yes and yes! Bodyweight exercises are awesome! Squats, lunges, burpees, etc. I also posted some links to workouts without equipment here: Articles: Workout without equipment

You tube boot camp work outs. There are a lot of great ways to get a full body work out with little equipment.

Here's a suggestion, invest in a one session group exercise class. Not many gyms call it boot camp any more but you can find what your looking for by reading descriptions that list "whole body", "weight resistance" and "variety" to be sure you enroll in what you're looking for. Ask for a one time free class if you're unsure. They don't advertise it, but many gyms will let you get a free try with the hopes of hooking you in for the long haul later. You will get a lot of good ideas and hands-on training to start.

I really love Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I have been doing it for over 3 months (approx 1 level per month instead of every 10 days). It's circuits with weights, cardio, and abs. Honestly, I use 5 lbs weights and I have gotten so much definition I never had when I just did cardio. I would def check it out
