My little sister says bangs might not be a good idea for me because they require "maintenance" and my idea of maintenance is taking the time to blowdry my hair. :P Do you think that haircut could work with the shape of my face? There's a picture of me in my profile. What are your opinions on bangs like that? Do you think I could skip the bangs and have the same general look with the cut?

Sorry! I lost track of the thread for a while. Did you get it cut yet? That's actually almost exactly the cut I have, just a little shorter in the back. I too am very low maintenance and it works very well for me. I always let my hair stylist (who is very good, and knows my habits) pick the details of the cut and keep me looking reasonably up-to-date and professional, and apparently she has been giving me the Diana Agron treatment.
I also have very fine thin hair, and the shorter length and layers keep it from being limp. I just blow it dry in the morning and clip the front parts up just during my drive to work (no product), and that gives it a bit of body for the rest of the day and keeps it from falling in my face. So it works very well for me. The one issue with the cut is that some parts of my hair grow in funny directions apparently, and when it grows out a bit it sticks out behind each ear. Then I know it's time to schedule a cut.
