Thanks Ema87! I'll check those out and I think I'll start the 30 day shred just to get my endurance etc up and maybe couple it with some pilates as well to really tone my core strength

you're welcome, glad I can help and I agree with you, 30ds is a good start because No more trouble zones is demanding and definitely requires some preparation

Ok I started the 30 day shred today, I'm so excited! I took my measurements etc so I'm gonna remeasure weekly along with weighing so I can get a full picture of how Jillian is whipping me into shape, LOL

So today, the workout was TOUGH! I used 3 lb weights and I could barely breathe by the end of the workout but I did push through it and I was able to keep up 99% of the time so I'm proud of myself. Looking forward to tomorrow. I did today's on my lunch break but I almost talked myself out of it so tomorrow I'm thinking before work is a better idea so I can just get up, do it, get it out of the way, shower and get to work
Is anyone else still doing this and if so what day are you on? Im gonna do it the full 30 days and switch to level 2 at day 11 etc like it's designed, I'm excited! We are so close to swimsuit season, I'm ready to shed the rest of my weight and tone up

So today is day 2 for me, doing Level 1 still of course.. I was sore yesterday after the workout and I got up at 5am to do today's and now I'm beyond sore! I'm taking ibuprophen to ease the pain some but it sure hurts to lift anything or go up or down stairs, go from sitting to standing.. ouch! LOL but I know this means my muscles are getting the attention they need and each day I'll be less sore and stronger. I'm kinda dreading tomorrow as I hear day 3 is the real killer once you have sore muscles so we'll see but I'm gonna push through it, I'm so excited to start seeing some inch loss and toning, definition to what little muscle I have right now, lol so anyway, I'll post tomorrow after my workout anyone want to join me?

Spryng, I just started level 2 today after 5 days on Level 1. I think I am going to be on Level 2 for a looong time before I can move on to level 3. My legs were shaking like crazy trying to hold some of the poses and I definitely need to work on my form.

I will certainly join you! I am really trying to tone up as much as possible. 3 years ago now (crazy how time flies) I lost about 40 lbs (with a ton of help from 3FC). I've gained back 10, but overall I have maintained most of my good habits, which is great. I am trying to lose those 10 lbs again, but I am also really trying to build muscle. The last time I got down to about 118, I looked emaciated. I don't have big bones, so I really shouldn't look that way at that weight. I think it's because I had done 90% cardio and hadn't built any muscle to get that nice, toned look. This time, I am aiming to build more muscle and do less cardio in the hopes of getting more of the shape that I want. Because, really, at 118, I shouldn't look like all skin and bones... that's a pretty healthy weight for someone my height.

I'm also doing 30ds this month, but since I've done this dvd before, I know that level 3 is easier than level 2, so after doing level 1 for 10 days, I am now on day 3 of level 3 and I'm saving level 2 for later.
I love Jillian, she definitely makes you work for it and ultimately delivers results, at least in my case.
