Default Out of commission :(

I've been sick since the weekend and I haven't done a workout since Saturday. I feel SO disgusting (because of this flu situation AND because I'm stuck in bed not moving!). Of course I think I've put on weight and I'm getting soft even though in reality I know it's not possible. I just can't wait to get back to it and I thought you guys would understand!!

So sorry you don't feel well! Don't stress about it, though: In a week, you'll be back to your routine, and within two weeks, you'll forget you ever had this hiatus. When you put this break into perspective (i.e., all the time you have worked out consistently & all the time you will work out consistently), it's a minor blip. It's what we do consistently that matters most.

Feel better!

Think of yourself as lucky. I injured my foot, and have not been able to exercise for over a month, and it's STILL not better. I'm just trying to take it easy, and not use my foot much. I bought an insole and have it bandaged on my foot so I don't step on the ball of my foot (since I believe I broke the tiny bone/s beneath my big-toe). Hope you feel better soon.

So sorry you are sick! Sometimes even a 5-10 minute walk can make all the difference. Studies suggest that light exercise while sick actually boosts the immune system. If you think you can step outside and walk around for a few minutes, go for it. Hope you feel better
