Hey! I normally hang out on the 20-somethings thread, but I'd love to talk to some runners over here.
I've done a few 5Ks and on Thanksgiving I ran my first 10K. I'm a slow runner, but consistent. I've run my 5Ks all at about 34 minutes and my 10K was in 1:12. So I was running at pretty much the same speed the whole time. :P My question is, how can I increase my speed? I'm trying HIIT because those supposedly help endurance. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'd love to do a half-marathon in the next year but I HAVE to be able to run faster first!
