Default Hurt butt after stationary bike?

anyone else have a sore butt after using the stationary bike? any suggestions to make it not hurt? =( the treadmills are broken at the gym and thats a bummer so i used the bike OUCH

Pretty much this. My butt was sore for ages when I first started using a stationary bike. Now it doesn't hurt at all.

you CAN buy a seat cushion though. I don't know how well they help as I never tried one.

You know those funny tight pants Lance Armstrong wears? Those aren't just to show off his amazing legs... No really!

They have padding in the crotch (and usually about halfway up the butt) that helps A TON. They aren't cheap, though, so unless you're planning on doing multi-hour sessions you might want to try something cheaper. Maybe get a big fat menstrual pad and tape them to your butt? Might look funny, but if you wear loose pants no one will notice (hopefully).
