Thanks for posting this link. Heart disease runs in my family (my dad has it) and that was one of the main reasons I started running. I will definitely read this article.

I like the article even though I'm not a runner. It makes me feel better and happy with the fact that I get quite a bit of moderate exercise each week!!

I do! That is for "relaxed walking" (as they say below the chart). I have a "walking desk" (which is really just a plank on a treadmill) and I am walking now! I walk a minimum of 2 hrs/day while I am surfing the web (it doubles as my exercise time!) -- on days I go into work. But I also work from home (on the computer) and while I don't normally walk when I am thinking intensely, for some types of work it's fine. There are days that I easily walk 5 or 6 hours! I am currently working on increasing the incline rather than the time.

I do this too! I don't walk as long as you, though. I generally walk for 1-2 hours, depending on my workload. I maintain a speed of 2.5 with an incline of 5.
