Keep track of your own monthly exercise here! (Junho)
During my cardio one day I was thinking how interesting it would be to know how many minutes I exercise in the period of a month.
So I am posting my exercise minutes daily in this threat and you are welcome to keep your data here too, so we can keep ourselves motivated. I started it last April and I was shocked to learn that in 3 weeks I worked out over 3,000 minutes!!!! What a motivation!!! It has helped me to keep going, because I want to see the minutes go up each day in this threat. You can even break the months down and learn how many minutes you worked out each week (and use the info to analyze your weight loss in that period) or maybe after 12 months you could add all the numbers you’ve got monthly and see how many minutes you exercised during the whole year. You don’t really have to post every day, as long as you keep track of the minutes from previous days and post it at once. It is up to you... * Make sure you get your minutes from your OWN last post. I am going to join this thread to keep track of my June exercise:)
I heard a suggestion on cutthefatpodcast.com to get started on an exercise program to commit to 30 mins a day for 30 days so my goal is 30 mins a day for the month of June. Since I am just starting out I will be counting walking as well as any gym activity. I'm in again. I think it's really fun to watch the exercise add up. Plus, I'd like to add in some extra cardio this month over what I'm already doing with P90X. So, let's see if I can beat last month's minutes of 2145!

2 - Eliptical at gym for 45 minutes, walk treadmill for 15 - total 2 hour 3 - jog & sprint drills, eliptical for 30 minutes - total 3 hour 5 minutes 4 - Step Areobics 45 minutes - total 3 hours 50 minutes 5 - recreational swimming with kids - total 4 hours 50 minutes 6 - worked at day camp and walked 1 mile* (no am dog walk this week). Not sure how to compute, so I won't :) 7 - worked day camp and walked 1 mile*. 8 - worked day camp and walked 1 mile*. 9 - worked day camp and walked 1 mile*. 10 - worked day camp and walked 1 mile*. 11 - celebrated b-day - ate everything and did nothing :P 12 - recovered from the week 13 - ran 2 miles, walked 2 miles - monthly total 6 hours 14 - step aroebics 45 minutes, walked 2 miles* - monthly total 6.75 hours 15 - ran 1 mile, eliptical for 30, sprint drills for 15 minutes, walked 2 miles* - monthly total 7.75 hours 16 - roller skating for 1.5 hours with kids, walked 2 miles* - monthly total 9.25 hours. 17 - ran 2.25 miles, walked 2 miles - monthly total 10.25 hours *walk 1 mile in am and again in pm with the dog and don't count the time |
