hey, ive just started to add swimming into my weekly workout regime, i love doing it but i really would like to know the benefits of the workout and if anyone has had success in losing weight by swimming once or twice a week? is it a good calorie burner?
I love swimming too! The jury is out on the calorie burning benefits of swimming but if I swim hard and not just slowly up and down then I definitely feel it in my arms and legs the day after.
I think it really depends on the intensity and stroke. I heard breaststroke burns the most calories, but I stick to front crawl because I feel like the cardiovascular workout is better. What does your swim workout look like?
