Default "Back" in the groove...*L*

Well, after my back threw me for a loop on Monday (how dare I bend over, the nerve of me!) I figured that I would be out of commission in terms of exercise for at least two weeks (that's how it usually goes, anyway.)

Luckily, I seem to have recovered faster than usual this time! I didn't leave the house at all on Monday or Tuesday, and didn't go anywhere yesterday either until it was time to go to my WW meeting at 6 (walked there, a fifteen minute trip each way.) Then today I went for a short walk again (about 20 minutes.)

This evening, I decided to try a longer walk. I had my cell phone with me so that if anything did happen with my back while I was out, I could call for someone to come get me. But I didn't need it! I walked a total of 3 miles in 50 minutes, and I'm pretty happy with myself. I don't know if the weight I've lost helped me to recover from this attack more quickly or what, but I'm just happy I was able to do it!

I know it seems like a silly thing, but I was so excited. I had to tell someone! *L*
