Default Exercising & being Smelly

Hi everyone, I'm new

I recently got a new job which is about 40 minutes away from where I live. My husband has been working in the same area (only 8 minutes away from my new office) for almost 2 years now. To save on gas, we carpool. Problem is, he typically works 9-10 hour days. I only work 8.
I get to work around 5:45 am, and since my coworkers don't get in until 7, i'm a sitting duck. I can't start my work until they arrive.

My office has a fitness room, which I've signed up for for the month of April. Great, right?

I have a problem though - how can i work out (let's say from 6-7) and not stink for the remainder of the day? There are showers but i'm worried about their cleanliness.

Can anyone think of any alternatives to the showers? Can baby wipes tide me over until I get home?

And before you post saying "just use the showers".. i'm looking for alternatives before I decide.

Thanks!

Sweat itself doesn't have a smell it's the bacteria on your skin that comes in contact with the sweat that makes you smell. If you shower right before you go in and wear deoderant you shouldn't smell that bad after a work out just make sure you bring a change of clothes. Some people have a bigger problem with being "stinky" then others so if you shower right before and you change clothes and you still smell then you will definitely want to take a shower.

Wear your sweats to work and put your outfit on a hanger the night before. Buy flipflops, some nice shower gel, pack an old towel, and use the shower. Fill a cosmetic bag with deodorant, body lotion, your make-up and hair necessities. If you will have the time, pack shampoo and a hairdryer if they are not provided. This could become a GREAT routine!

this could be the best thing ever! I'd totally bring Lysol and spray the shower each morning before I work out. That way you know it's at least disinfected before you go in and no one else will be going in because you're by yourself. Bring flip flops too!

If that still doesn't cut it, I think rinsing off in the sink would be good enough, as long as you're freshly showered the night before and change your clothes, undies, put on new deodorant etc

I workout at work also and absolutely must shower before returning to work. However, many of the ladies simply wash off at the sink in lieu of a full shower.

Thanks for the tips, and I agree, this could be a very good routine!
