Default Question for women

Does any woman on here find that exercising makes your period weird? I've noticed that sometimes when I exercise it will make me spot or start, and then later I will stop and spot or start again. This has been going on for a while. I guess it's because I'm overweight.

My period has changed a lot since I started exercising. It has been shortened, it's less heavy, and I don't cramp as much. I haven't however experience the start and stop thing though. It might be nothing but if you have insurance you'll probably want to have a doctor check things out.

I'm experiencing that now, actually. I've just been to the gyno so it doesn't seem like anything is wrong, and I'm thinking it's just my body regulating because my cycle has always been kind of sensitive to outside factors. It couldn't hurt to call your doctor and ask though!
