The same thing happened to me. I changed my diet first and was losing 2-3 pounds a week and then when I added 2 hr/day workouts I ended up gaining 1-2 pounds the first 2 weeks. I was getting really discouraged until I realized I lost an inch off my waist and hips. By week 3 I had lost 3 pounds again.

This!!

I gained 4lbs in 2 days when I started working out (last week). I wasn't losing inches, wasn't losing pounds, nothing was changing. I had a melt down (emotional, I stayed on plan though), then took the battery out of my scale, and put it away. I'm not touching it until Sunday. I will just go on drinking my water, watching my calories, and exercising. Eventually either inches or pounds will start coming off! Something's gotta give. Until then, I am going to try and not stress about it

well, i guess i'm just wondering how long the workout is, type of exercise, intensity level. but it sounds like you are doing well, so keep it up.
