I bicep curl with my grocery bags, and while I clean, if I'm putting things away from other rooms (for example, taking something from the bedroom out to put away in the medicine cabinets), I do walking lunges in between the rooms.
It is so cute to think of you ladies doing lunges while walking to different rooms, and squats while tooth brushing! Those belong in a cute family movie.
I jump up and down while pouring breakfast for my bunny rabbit, but I think that has more to do with my saying hello in bunny-rabbit to him, than an effort to burn calories..
I'll sometimes read a book when on the stationary bike, squats or jumping jacks when waiting for something to cook in the oven/stove/microwave, playing / strength training with my 15 lb bichon frise(he thinks it's great fun!), taking said bichon frise running on a leash beside me when I go out on my bike, hula hooping with my weighted hoop while watching one of my shows, doing the "washing machine dance" when doing the laundry(okay, I admit I'm a major dork...), and dancing while cleaning house('tis great fun to some music when you're mopping ).
Edit: I thought of another one! Using my stability ball at my desk instead of my desk chair and doing exercises on it while waiting for pages to load or taking breaks from my studies.
i wear ankle wts walking around the house. calf raises, hamstring curls while i'm waiting for the kids to get off the bus. hamstring curls while i do dishes.
recently, i find every way imaginable to do some version squats/side lunges while do x.
brush teeth, dishes, washing hands, in the shower, folding clothes, vacumning...
sometimes i just punch our punching bag for a few mins. when i squat doing that, it works legs and arms at the same time. other times i alternate punching and jumping 'rope'. it's imaginary. i'll do that in between cleaning around the house.
