Go for it, Jilly! I am gonna run Day 3 Wk 1 tomorrow. I ran day 1 on Monday, and let me tell you, I thought I was gonna die. My legs hurt so bad on Tues and then I woke up Wednesday and they STILL hurt, but I ran again anyways. Wed was even harder because I was SO SORE going into it, but I persevered, barely. I took a bath that night with some epsom salts (they totally help), and Thurs I really wasn't all that sore and then today, I feel no pain or soreness at all. I am running in the morning. So, we'll see how that goes. Good luck!
