Default Swimming Exercises?

I've recently started going to the pool, joining both a water aerobics class and doing free-swim. I'm hightly enjoying both, and I'm seeing some results.

I was wondering if there are any other ways to exercise in the pool besides laps and aerobics.
I want to focus on my lower body and thighs.

Default Add Weights!

Most good athletic or swim stores sell waterproof weights that velcro around your ankles or wrists to increase resistance. They will turn water aerobics into a serious workout, and swimming lengths into a thigh burner.

Good luck! Swimming is one of my favourites too, probably because I don't feel sweaty.

"Basic aqua fitness and pool workouts are a great way to increase strength, endurance and overall health. Workout wet with help from an experienced fitness model and instructor in this free video series on water aerobic exercises."

After you look at these 15 videos, there are also other water exercise links on the page to explore.

With my knee injury, this is almost the only kind of exercise I did this summer.
