I go to Pilates twice a week and have been doing it since mid April and I love it. The most important thing is to start slow and always apply proper technique. Tehcnique is very important.
I have experienced a few benefits. My shoulder and lower back are much better. I can tell my muscles are more toned but not bulky. My husband swears that he can tell my waist is smaller than would normally be at this weight. I def can tell my butt is firmer and pants fit better.
I feel so much better. My routine is 280 mins of cardio per week and Pilates class twice a week.
I love Pilates!! When I do it consistently, it really tightens my muscles up, my one friend swears she can tell her waist is smaller after the first day! LOL. Not sure how realistic that part is, but it's definitely very effective and enjoyable, in my opinion.
Main Goal: 155 by October 20, 2014!!!
