When I first started it took me approx 20 min, after a few weeks, I upped it to 2 miles at a time and now (a couple weeks later) I can do 2 mile walk/jog in 27 min. I walk/jog approx every other day. I found that you start out pushing yourself and when it starts getting easier, you push yourself a little more. I can now jog a little over half a mile without stopping, when I first started the jogging part, it killed me to jog 1.5 minutes.......lol

When I first started out, it took me 30 minutes to walk a mile.
Now, I can do a 12 minute mile and have jogged up to 4 miles non-stop.
I no longer use a treadmill. 30 minutes on the treadmill will cause my thighs to go numb, followed by sharp needle like pain. Weather permitting, I go outside for my walks/jogs. Hooray for summer!!!

I am happy to read how many started off slow and how you ramped your speeds and distances up!

I actually have DREAMS about running through the woods, ha! I can't wait until my body is fit enough to make that a reality...
