Red face Different size calves...

My one calf is bigger than the other, by like 1/2 an inch or so. I am almost positive that it is from carrying my son on my right side way back when he was little(he is 4 now). I always carried him on my right side and that is the leg with the bigger calf. Am i just crazy? Is there some exercise that will correct this? It seems like the right calf is bigger because it is more muscular from carrying the baby on that side. Any input is appreciated. I know nobody else will notice my calves but i do...haha! Thanks!

Default calf exercise

I have a calf that's smaller than the other because of a bum knee and eventual surgery, but you can work on strengthening the weaker one with a simple exercise: stand on the ball of your foot on a step, curb, or even a threshold, and using the weaker leg only, flex down and then up on your toes, using just your body weight (which will become less effective when you lose weight ) Do three sets of 15 twice a day, and you'll notice a difference before long!

I had foot surgery earlier this year and part of my physical therapy is doing calf exercises similar to those mentioned above along with a few others as one calf muscle (and well whole leg really) is less developed and less muscled than the other because I've walked with a limp most of my adult life (which is now corrected - yay surgery!

That's not uncommon. According to my son with the human biology degree our bodies are not asymmetrical.

I have one ear that is higher than the other. It's not noticeable unless I wear long dangly earrings. My choirpractor, (sp?) says I have one leg slightly longer than another, also not uncommon, and probably contributes to my back bothering me.

A little more exercise on that leg should even them up.
