I bought a yoga dvd yesterday that comes with seven routines of various length and tried one out today morning... whew! I got through ten minutes and then had to skip over to the end. And here I thought it would be a walk in the park, easy routine lol. Who knew?
I am shockingly sore after popping in on a class after a hiatus.
Amen. I haven't been in about three weeks due to a huge scrape on my knee (I couldn't put any weight on it) and I'm chicken to go back because I know just how sore I'll feel the next day!
oh and yeah, I sweat like it's 200 degrees during most yoga classes!
Ilene, I got Power Yoga Total Body. It starts out easy, and you think, "Oh, I can handle this, it isn't so bad"...but then he just keeps going until there's sweat dripping on the mat.
i'll have to check into this rodney guy because the yoga i do is that stuff on comcast on demand and its nothing for me to do, so maybe he'll be more challengeing.

Check OnDemand. Sometimes they will put some of his sessions under the exercise section
Yeah...yoga is some serious stuff! I have practiced yoga for a few years now...and it urks me when someone who has no experience writes it off as an "easy" workout that doesn't do anything, or assume that it is all stretches.
I remember having never tried Yoga, and thinking it would be a good way to ease into some regular exercising (and it is!), but I even tried the Fat Chicks Yoga DVD (Yoga: Just My Size) and I couldn't believe how some of the tamest moves would wear me down! I still love that DVD, but it was not as easy as I thought it would be.
