Tennis Elbow
I have no idea why, but I have tennis elbow (pain in my left elbow). I don't play tennis or golf, and I'm actually right handed. The doctor was unsure why I would have tennis elbow, but it could partly be due to my age (I'm 58).
Anyway, I take naproxen (1 or 2 tablets) every morning, and that helps with the pain. But from what I read, it could take awhile for it to totally heal. I really want to start doing some workout video's, but most of the ones I have use some arm movements and involve some weights.
As long as the naproxen is helping with pain, and I can stand doing some exercising that involves the use of my arms, do you think it is OK to use it (when it isn't as painful)? Some days, there's just no way I'd want to do anything with it (especially on the days I haven't taken any naproxen). Or, would it be better if I just do exercising/activities that don't use my arms (at least my left arm) just yet. My goal is to possibly get the new chaLEAN workout DVD's and do more with heavier weights (gradually).
Thanks for any input!
