I have weird shaped feet (kinda like a ducks webbed foot, wide in the front, narrow in the back) and I love my Asics. Best of all, I can usually find them fairly cheaply. Once you find the shoe/brand that you prefer, you can generally find a good deal.

I wear New Balance -- their cross trainers. I have high arches, and I need really good arch support. Because of the high arch, I also need a high vamp on my shoes or else my toes start to get numb during my workout. I have found that the expensive line of New Balance cross trainers (They are a little over $100) cover all the bases for me.

Interestingly, my husband, who has wide, kind of flat feet will only wear New Balance as well because of the room in the toe box.

I had heard good things about New Balance, but when I tried them on I couldn't stand where they hit at on the back of my ankle.

I swear if I ever get cosmetic surgery it will be on my feet! You can reduce/reshape a lot of your body, but with feet you're kinda stuck with whatever genetics gave you.

I also go for the New Balance; I've never found another line of shoes that were comfortable on my wide feet!
