I pretty much always feel lightheaded after exercising for about an hour. I do generally eat right before a workout and it consists of both carbs and proteins. I drink enough water during the workout also. I just don't know why I feel lightheaded after a workout and in the last few minutes of my workout.
you burn a lot of calories when you exercise and need to replenish your electrolytes. i think it's also your body telling you you've done enough. my daughter is an athlete and she gets light headed and even starts to faint at times because her blood pressure is very low. usually athletes have very low blood pressure and it does cause them to get light-headed.
