Another Jogging Stroller Question

I feel like an idiot asking this, but I tried to put a little air in my tires and 2 of them suddenly went flat a few hours after I did this. I don't have much experience with this, did I do something wrong? I know I screwed the caps back on correctly. Is there something special I should be doing?

I finally got my running shoes, this is all I need to get back on track with my running :(

Try taking it to a local bicycle shop and asking them to take a look. I have to patch my stroller tires from time to time (just like my bicycle tires) because the tube will get holes for one reason or another (pinch flats, thorns, etc). The bicycle shop can help you figure out what is wrong, and show you how to make the appropriate fix. A patch kit costs less than $5 and labor will be inexpensive on that as well, maybe $10 max--they might do it for free even.

Good luck.

OK, I just found this, which is pretty much what I would do, and the shop would show you. It is easier to actually watch someone go through the procedure though.

Anne, thanks for the links. I will be sure to store it away for later. :)

But I don't think I had a air leak, since it didn't start acting up until I decided to put some air in. I dont think I had the cap on right. I refilled them and they're working fine now. Thanks again for the tips! I will know what to do when I do get a air leak.

No problem! I'm glad it was an easy fix. Our stroller tubes are filled with patches, since there is always a cactus joint or thorny stick to roll over here. We fix flats on the stroller almost as often as on the bikes.
