Default Need help with tennis elbow

I think I overdid some wrist curls a few days ago and now have a mild case of tennis elbow. Should I take a break from upper body work until it heals or are there weight/toning exercises I can continue to do without aggravating the condition?

I have that. I call mine "campers elbow". When I injured myself in Sept 06, I thought it would never go away. Tennis elbow is on one side of the arm, golfers elbow is on the other. I injured both. Oh joy! I finally went to my chiropractor and got some deep intense massages and it started clearing up within 2 weeks. It hurt, but it worked. I was doing all those exercises (for about 3 months) that my doctor told me to do and they didn't work. His massages did.

He told me to hold off on using any weights for a while. In fact, he told me to not do a lot of upper body exercise with my right arm until I could do so without pain. That was about 2 more weeks.

Don't know if others here agree, but that is what worked for me.
