Question re figuring calories burned
Hi
I was looking for a little input on this question...what do you consider most reliable? (1) The estimates given on sites like fitday and mydailyplate (which take into acct current weight); (2) the calories burned total on a heart rate monitor like Polar; (3) the calories burned total from cardio machines (I think these are generally poor) FYI, the Polar amounts for me are sometimes higher (when I exercise outside in warm weather), and sometimes lower (than the cardio machine estimates) Thanks, |
There's been some discussion about just that sort of thing here .... http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116022 ... come on over and see.
