Excersize bike ..do they work?

  • I just started one yesterday. I got on it for 35 minutes yesterday, and then for 45 today. And I plan on doing it five times a week. I just want to know if they actually work. I don't want to waste my time on something that doesn't. I feel the burn, but I don't want it to be me just hoping that it works, and making myself feel something that's not there. lolol ...Does anyone on here use one?
  • If your heart rate is accelerated and your body is moving, then, yep, you're burning calories and giving yourself a cardio-vascular work out!
  • I love to ride my stationary bike. I put in my scrubs dvd and go for it Personally, I don't want to build up or shorten my thigh muscles, so I keep it on the the lowest resistance (it's a magnetic bike) and pedal quite fast. If you want to tone your butt and thighs you can vary the tension and feel that burn! I really like the effect on my thighs. I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it, Starburst1987.
