It really depends on your stride and pace....that's why I got a pedometer that was $12. It just does the basics and measures miles or calories burned...but hey it works! I actually think opposite you because I'd rather say that I walked 1 hour 30 min, than 4 miles. I don't know. I guess i don't see 4 miles as being that far even though I KNOW it is.
I have a tredmil and for me 20 min is 1 mile. That is at a good pace. Walking fast enough that having a conversation would be difficult and I work up a good sweat.
30 min. toning today! I will have to make up not walking yesterday on Sat. morning. If I don't do it in the AM I just wont do it. I wanted to take afternoon walks this week but it has been rainy. Memorial weekend in MN always rains .
I had a horrible night sleep and really didn't want to but I did it!! I figured I didn't walk at all this weekend so no matter how sleepy I was I had to just do it!!
Well, I didn't walk or do my toning DVD today . I have been having some really bad nights lately and haven't been sleeping well. Between the kids and the dogs I haven't had a good night sleep in about a week. However, I weed whipped my yard and mowed today. I don't know what that counts for but at least it was something .
Oh Adaem! Mowing is considered medium intensity. It's great exercise..I did the same thing today...was mowing for about 2 hours and that was JUST the trim!!! we have 10 acres. AHHH!!!!
I've also done 10 miles between yesterday and today. Keep it going guys!!!
