I don't know what my problem is today. I had to *drag* myself kicking and screaming to the gym, and once I got there, I could only force myself to do 20 minutes elliptical before I lost my determination to make myself do it. I did hit that dip machine though--wow! It completely kicked my butt, or more properly, my arms, even set with an 120lb counter-weight. My upper-body is pretty pathetic.

Hope you all did/do better today than I!

Amanda, you two look great, and so happy!

Diva, the lunges/squats until it hurt made me cringe.. sounsd like a great workout though.

baffled, I hear you loud and clear. Sometimes it's all i can do to not throw a tantrum at the gym. Not usually.. but lately, i've been terrible.

I finally got to the darn gym today, although it was really tempting to use the "owww, i gave my butt a bruise today by bumping it with the car door " excuse.

30 min elliptical and 30 min treadmill

djs06, it was an excellent workout both today & yesterday. i stuck to cardio today because my arms & chest were hurting, plus I was giving everything a rest. Surprisingly the legs were only a tiny bit sore. I bumped up my step height for a little while today but my breathing was was hard so I bumped it right back down, LOL!

I feel good!

Hello fellow fitness buddies - I have just joined this site and thought this would be a good post to join so I can be more accountable about my exercise routine. I am just getting use to exercising again, basically I have been a couch potato forever, so I joined a gym with a pool, and this week I have been to 3 aqua aerobics classes. Today's class was fantastic - it was done in the deep water and concentrated on your core. Anyway I also did a pilates workout video too this week.

Next week, I hope to step it up a bit to include working out with the treadmill, arc trainer and bike as well as aqua, swim laps, and pilates.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you in the next few months as I get to my goal.

It's my day off from the gym today. I'm going to take my dog for a nice long walk around a lake and across some fields, and tonight I wait tables. Good enough.
