Another 2.5 miles today...

completed: 7.2 of 70 only 62.8 to go... I might have to do more than 2 miles a day... darn that bad math of mine... I sure do wish I would have paid more attention to my math teacher... wait a minute... I am a math teacher. Crap!

1.5 mile dog walk; 2.5 miles treadmill for a total of 4.0 miles! Darn dog found some hershey's kisses in a Christmas stocking my daughter left laying in her room and ate a hole through the bottom and most of the kisses. Made her walk an extra 1/2 mile for that

Jo-we made the mistake of keeping one of the bags of treats the dogs received for christmas under the tree. We came home from a trip to the museum to shredded packaging strewn all over the house and not a treat left! BAD DOGS!!!

2.5 on treadmill this a.m. Will take pretty Pennydog out for a walk this afternoon. I drove around my neighborhood to check the distance (I thought the pedometer was wrong). It's exactly 1.5 miles. I was surprised cause I thought it was less!!

Ok, I'm in. I have 2 weddings I'm in in the next 6 months and I want to be a MILF. I had a baby 3 months ago and thankfully lost all the weight I gained, but still have 25 pounds to go before I'm happy.

My Goal- 50 miles (starting off slow)
Miles Completed - 3
Miles to go - 47

Got the dog out for a 1.5 mile walk for a total of 4.0 miles today. Lovely weather too. Unusually warm for January!

Good job everyone... I do have to say... this thread keeps me going. I feel like I just have to post here each day.

Yesterday... I was going to rest... but DH convinced me to at least do 40 minutes of cardio with him. No running because of the shins still. I will count it for 2 miles of walking.

60.8 miles to go.

Hi gals, no walking for me yesterday (planned) or today (rain). I had to do a tape, but at least I was moving.

Genesis-Great job on the tri workout!!!! When is your event scheduled?? I wish I had the guts to try one, but I'm a terrible swimmer. I have considered a duathlon, but to chicken so far.

Jamie-way to get something extra in. I'm sure it made you feel great.

Great job everybody. Have a great Friday.

Thanks Brandy! I'm planning on participating in the Danskin triathlon at Walt Disney World in May. I am enrolling in swim lessons because I need to improve my skills in this area. I know how to swim but my breathing and stroke technique certainly could use some help! I bought a racing swim suit, which I tried out for the first time yesterday, and that alone made a big difference. I also need to go to a bike shop and get some help with my bike. I have a hybrid and I need somebody to walk me through exactly how to use the gears. I'm clueless with bikes! This whole triathlon thing is so new to me that I'm just figuring it out as I go along. If you're thinking about trying a multi-sport event, I say go for it! Why not??? I never thought I'd ever do a triathlon, but now that I'm getting serious about it, it's exciting!
