Default portable elliptical or portable exercise bike?

i live in a small apartment but I was thinking about getting a portable elliptical like: amazon.com/Stamina-55-1610-InMotion-Elliptical-Trainer/dp/B000VICRO8
or a portable exercise bike which looks similar but has petals
im wondering is something like this worth it for my cardio workout?
im trying to find a alternative cardio to walking or perhaps in addition to a little bit of walking
and if it is a good thing to grab what type of device should i consider?
which one would give me a better cardio workout?

I have that elliptical and it served me well for my first few months. You use it standing up; I think the one with the pedals is meant to be used sitting. It gave me a really good workout and I am glad I had it to start with, it's perfect for in front of the tv. I upgraded to a full sized treadmill after a while and haven't used the elliptical since.
