I often see the Concept2 machines referred to when people talk about good rowers. The one at my gym is a Concept2, I enjoy it. Cybex is a good brand in general, but I've never used or have heard of their rowers.
The one in the gym in my condo complex and the one at the gym I have a membership in are both Concept2. I like it a lot--it's my favourite non-cycling workout, since it uses both upper and lower body.

do you own a lot of other exercise equipment? I would worry about owning a rowing machine, at risk of using it more than another machines and ending up with masculine shoulders (a friend of mine actually had this problem)
