Should I apply lubricants to an elliptical's moving parts?

I just bought an Elliptical. I didn't get the instruction book because it is an
exhibits on display and I got discount when I bought it. But now I can heard some noises when I use it and I don't know it is normal or not. This noise makes me a little bit unhappy. I don't know if I need to apply some lubricants . I haven't used lubricants to try yet because I found there are
some parts made by plastic material. I hope if someone here know and can tell me.

Thanks!

I'm not sure about the maintenance for an elliptical.... That said, I just inherited a treadmill from a coworker. It's not in top condition and I have questions about it too. I found on the internet you can download owners manuals for just about every treadmill out there and I assume a manual for your elliptical would be just as available. Good luck with it!!!!

Check the manufacturers website. They should have a support section or phone number where you can get a copy of the manual, and you might possibly be able to contact one for advice. I don't think you are supposed to lubricate anything.

Some brands are known for making klunking sounds when the newness wears off. Also, I'm pretty sure it should sit on very level flooring or it can cause some problems.
