Post Advice on Heart Rate Monitors

Hello all,

I read through the archives but could not find a thread on HRM. I'm interested in purchasing one and wondered what you all use and what you would recommend? Thanks!

Mary

This thread might be helpful: Heart Rate Monitors

I'm very pleased with my Polar F6. It seems accurate and syncs up with the machines in my gym.

Thanks, Meg! I hadn't thought to look for a thread on monitors outside of the equipment forum. Thanks for steering me to it.

No problem! I just happened to remember that discussion from last month.

Have you done any comparison shopping yet or narrowed down your choices? Or are you at the beginning of the process?

I did some comparison shopping but didn't fully understand all of the various features that come with some of the monitors, so decided to go with the Polar F4. It should arrive in about 10 days. Thanks again for steering me to that other thread. It was very helpful to read about what others are using.
