I am not sure if this has been posted before, as I am new, but I wanted to share this for all the other pizza addicts like me who miss it
I use Canadian Bacon or Turkey Pepperoni and lay it in the bottom of a baking pan (a small round pan works great, or an 8" cake pan with the ingredients in the middle). Then I add on top of the meat fresh mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and olives (or any other veggie you like will do). Then I top it with appx a cup of mozzerella. I baked mine at 375 for 20 minutes, and it was delicious!
We have had this "crustless" pizza at a neighborhood pizza buffet, and I was thrilled that I successfully made it at home. It was so good I felt like I was cheating! The only thing I don't have are the calories associated, so I hope this dish was "legal" for phase 1?!
