I've never heard of the Chemical Reaction diet but looking at the website, it looks like a restricted low carb diet.
Usually, you will lose more weight the first week on a diet because you are losing water weight. This is especially true of eating plans that heavily restrict the amount of sodium that you eat.
As for losing weight fast, usually your body will only allow you to lose 1-2 lbs of fat per week. The rest will be water weight as well as muscle. That is why the general advice is to aim for a loss of 1-2 lbs per week to help ensure you are only losing fat.
Edited to add:
I almost forgot to mention. You seem like you are interested in Bodybuilder eating plans. If so, Body for Life is a good book as well as Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle which is an internet only e-book.

What cleanse did you do? If ya wanna move the scale super fast at your weight you could lose 2lbs a day on the lemonade diet its a cleanse with awesome weight loss benefits. You can google it. I did a 10 day and lost 10lbs I dont have as much to lose as you though so I bet you would get better results. Another plan that drops weight fast is sunslim a pound a day and ya eat 6 times aday lots of food. Its a e-book you can google it too. I can tell you have the mindset by your post to get this weight off so this is my advise so you dont get discouraged by other things that dont work as quick.

I guess what I would want to know is not how fast you can lose weight, but how likely you are to keep it off? Especially once you switch to another plan/diet. Sure, you'll lose on a super low carb diet, but if you don't eat like that forever, you may well gain it back on the switch back.
For me, unless I'm keeping the weight off, it's not worth it to lose it in the first place.

Just curious, did your dietitian recommend the lemonade diet as a cleanse? Or just a "cleanse" in general. A cleanse means different things to different people. I have heard that just eating fruits and veggies is considered a cleanse while others are a bit more restrictive as only liquids. I don't care for the lemonade diet myself because I am hypoglycemic/PCOS and if I drank just sugar water, my body would punish me badly.

Master cleanser (lemonade diet)
She specifically recommended the colonics cleanse but I showed her the master cleanse and she said it was not dangerous just that I should not use it for weight loss instead I should use it as a vacation for my digestive system. It was my favorite cleasne though. 1st day was the hardest then it just got easier and easier, it taught me that we do not NEED to eat alot. Most over eating is emotional.
Eating fruits and vegetables is a cleanse in itself. It only makes sense though. Fruits and vegetable are high in fibre and pass through and clean your system.

Did you happen to track your calories for the last few days?

Hi all!
I'm a new member and I've just started the Chemical Reaction Diet, I'm on my 2nd day. I've lost 3.3 pounds I don't believe that i will lose 10 pounds but i'm not rushing. One thing that I've noticed is that i'm feeling more energetic as my whole life I felt tired, I think has to do with milk. What you think?

Sorry to say I didn't track my calories. This week has been something since I finished the diet. Its so hard to figure out what to eat so I have been surviving on berries lol. Well I think I am going to do the chemical reaction diet again because I am currently 215, the lowest weight I have been for 3 yrs and I plan to keep it off.
To be honest I think my weight loss came from going on the gazelle more than doing the diet.
Happy wight loss!

I've took 1 day off for eat things that I like : ) ( lot of sins hehehe) and didn't put any wheight back and tomorrow I'll start the diet again. Today will be a very healthy day (lots of vegetables, fruits etc...). Is a hard diet but I did like as we see straight to way the results.

I guess 10 pounds a week is achievable only on your first dieting week. Four years ago, I invented this really stupid diet plan. I ate 10 grapes and 1 apple a day for one whole week. That's around 150 calories a day. It's really insane. I lost 10 lbs. in just one week. I think it's purely water weight. But it was a big boost for me. Of course, I ate normally after that first week.
I'm kinda interested on Chemical Reaction Diet. But I'll try it out after the Holidays so I will be able to cleanse myself. :-) Do I have to pay to get the info?
