Cool Richard Simmons Nightmare

new roman
Biggest mistake of my life was ordering Richard Simmons from an
infomercial and using my credit card.

Got the first package that was immediately billed to my account.

Got another package that was returned unopened because it
was unordered. Billed to my account of course.

Got another package of recipe cards, unordered and billed again.

Got another package of recipe cards, unordered and bille again.

After each unordered delivery/return, I called the # on my credit
card bill for a " we will immediately credit your bill and cancel your
membership promise."

Need I tell you I'm still waiting for my account credited, but did
somehow get the membership cancelled for no more deliveries of
his latest unordered gizmo billed to my account.

Reaching MR. Simmons is of course impossible--this mailorder firm
who takes the initial order is who you get if/when you have a
complaint that needs attention. The worse part of all this is I
couldn't follow the darn video and hated the foolish materials to
track your day. I'll stay with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Weight thank you.

Default Chargeback time...

If you used a credit card, and they send unwanted merchandise that you've been sending back and have asked them to credit your account to no avail - time to call your bank (the bank which issued the card) and initiate a chargeback.

Believe me, that will get them to take notice...since it's a huge hassle for them to go through the arbitration process.

More than likely it's just an error on their part - nothing intentional.

Take care!

Default I've had the same problem this is what I did

I went threw the same thing. You will get no where with these people on your own. The main company is Goodtime entertainments. Located in New Yourk. First like the prior post said. Call the number on the back of your credit card. They will help. Also go to the new your better busniess burea and file a complaint. It is free. You watch and see how fast they can get there buts moving. Also you will be amazed at the amount of complaints on this company. I would say good luck, but you won't need it is you take these two steps.

hello,

I checked out www.bbb.org's Richard Simmons (Goodtime Entertainment) file and they already have an unsatisfactory record. You might save half the headache and go through your credit card company.

Also, Leslie Sansone uses the same company, so you might want to beware there as well.

Good luck!

Default yep, me too!

A couple of years ago I ordered his blast off pack. I got the tapes, the weights but not food mover. So, I call and ask "Where is my food mover?" -"Oh, it's coming in a different package." ok, I'm thinking.. Two days later, I get another package, I open it and it's the same dang thing I got before and still no food mover! I call them back they say "send it back to us, we'll credit your account." My account was never credited and as to the food mover? Two years later - I'm STILL waiting for it!

I was on Deal-A-Meal about fifteen years ago and lost 35 pounds on it which I then kept off for about ten years. I gained it all back when I started working from home. I never had trouble with him and even wrote to him once and received a nice autographed pic with a nice note on it. Yes, I know he's a bit of a corny man but his deal a meal thing worked for me at the time (I was about 16 when I started it).

I guess things have changed and not for the better

This happended to me a while back. We had quite the thread on here about it.
You wouldn't believe (well....I guess you would) how many people have been ripped off by this company. That Richard keeps them as his sales company is beyond me.
Good luck
