THE ONLY, and i mean ONLY reason it works, is because you are eating 500 calories a day!!!

500 CALORIES A DAY.. of COURSE you will lose weight, fat, wwater, muscle mass, your sanity, etc.
should you choose to eat so little is it very unwise to exercise... not because you "wont have the strength" but becasue you can cause SERIOUS hormonal distrurbances you will have to deal with the rest of your life (for example, losing your period, teaching your body to metabolically adapt very quickly,on ANY diet, so youll have a VERY hard time losing weight again in the future) These are just examples
