Jillian's 30 Day Shred
I noticed in the Fitness section of our on demand TV they now have the first 3 days of Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred. I seriously debated finally buying this the other day and I'm glad I didn't because now I can try the first 3 days before buying.
I'd like to see 3FC Forum reviews for this workout DVD. Does she yell like on TBL? I don't know if I could deal with that!

It's a great work out! I listened to her the first 2 times and now I just play music! It's gets old hearing the same thing! I've only done level 1 and I did it about 16 days in one month (only level 1), with 12 consecutive days not doing it and I noticed a difference. But, I also try to do Zumba 20 or 30 minutes after 30DS.
Just know, you don't have to listen to her! You get it down, play your own music, glance back and forth to make sure you're on track!

There's a tread going in the challenge section about this, you're welcome to join us!
The program is to do level 1 for 10 days and then level 2 for ten and so on, so you have the whole thing on demand (lucky!)

I wanted to also mention that I'm not "fit" by any means. I have exercise induced asthma and it's a lot better then when I was 30 lbs heavier, but it's still a pain.
I went from a mile walk being high intensity to a 3 mile walk being low intensity, so I am definitely in better shape, but I still wouldn't consider myself fit. And I think my muscles are weak!
I never thought of turning the volume down, lol!

On 30 day shred Jillian doesn't really yell she does make comments like "I want your legs screamin'" but no yelling she jokes around a bit but like ButterCup said you can choose to hear only music once you get the hang of the routine. As for results I don't see it too much in the scale but I have noticed my clothes are a bit looser my calves are more muscular thighs a bit smaller and waist shrinking if you do decide to start it take measurements first! That's what has been keeping me motivated seeing my measurements shrink!

All you actually need is some dumbells and really starting off, you don't even have to use them. Some people don't. It's HARD work especially in the start. I use 6.6 pound weights but only because I thought they were 3 pounds until day 4 or 5 of doing it then I thought what the heck I've done it this far! But, I do have to do some things without weights because push ups, squats with weights then the curls and the laying down thing, my goodness. For someone who hasn't worked out ever (me) it's difficult. But so worth it! Try it without weights, you'll still feel the pain I promise! lol

Do give it a whirl, you will love the results.... promise! I finally have a nice shape to my butt and a smaller lower stomach- totally worth every sore muscle to me, lol. I second trying it without weights for now.
Good luck!!!
