my grandma and mom would just wrap seran wrap around their tummy and thighs and go for a walk. theyd sweat more. cant say how much it worked or how good for you it is but if the object was to sweat it out then yes. seran wrap works just as well.
You don't really burn fat from it. The first few days I used it for my exercise was BAD. I think the waistband contributed to it because I was losing so much water that I felt tired throughout the day and it went on for a couple of more days. I stopped wearing it since then but my mom still does.
