Default Appetite Suppressant: Homeopathic HGC?

There was a thread on a local mom's board about appetite suppressants. A few people have responded that they are taking Homepathic HGC and are losing a lot of weight.

I don't trust that board for any dieting / health advices, so I'm coming to the wise members of 3FC.

Has anyone tried HCG? If so, please share your experience.

If it works, did you keep your weight off? Has anyone heard of any negative reviews or warnings?

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we allow discussion of this diet on the boards, because it is not considered safe.

Perfect, that's all I really need to know! Can we leave this response so other people know?

Homeopathic HCG has no HCG in it, but practitioners of homeopathy say the ‘energetic imprint’ of the HCG is in the solution, even though a 6X dilution is the equivalent of one dose of HCG in a bathtub of water.

Also as far as I know, in US and Canada hCG is a prescription drug, thus it cannot be purchased over the Internet, or administered without medical supervision. hCG is not an over-the-counter medication.
