I've never used acupuncture for weight loss, but I have for other things. I find it extremely relaxing! My understanding of acupuncture is that it's all about creating balance in your body, facilitating your body's own ability to heal. It's helped me in the past with pms and insomnia, and just general well being. I know that when I feel balanced and relaxed, I make better choices and take better care of myself.
Give it a try! It won't "magically" make you lose weight, but it can help your body (and mind) be healthier. I would do it regularly now if I could afford it (I used to work occasionally for an acupuncturist, so I got a lot of treatments then!!)
