Question Looking for the name of a specific diet

I really hope there won't be any issues with this post, but I've got a question and thought this would be the most appropriate place to ask.

Yesterday I was having a conversation about healthy eating with a friend, and I brought up a diet I read about somewhere in this forum several months back. I can't seem to find its name now though, let alone any information on it. The thing is that it's considered a dangerous diet, so much so that the mere mention of it becomes filtered out like a swear word within this board!

From what I remember, the diet is endorsed by a woman who has a pay site. She encourages her site's members to follow an extreme diet and to look at any abdominal pain as a sign the diet is "working." This part really struck me when I first read about it since I suffered similar abdominal pains many years ago when I wasn't eating enough food for long periods of time. Something else I also remember is that the woman posted fake, slim images of herself on that site to validate the lifestyle she's endorsing when she is, in fact, actually obese. The diet was once featured in an issue of Woman's World (I think that's the right magazine), but when it was found out that she was a dangerous phony, they printed an apology for featuring it.

I'd like to find out the name of this diet again. Not because I want to try it or encourage anyone else to (as I most certainly don't), but because I was discussing with my friend about the dangers of this particular diet and wanted to find more specifics on it. I also figured it wouldn't hurt to bring up this diet as a no-no to newbies looking for information on plans that are safe and effective.

Anyone who can give me information or point me to any appropriate articles would be very appreciated.

There's a class action lawsuit pending against her for, among other things, misleading people with fake before/after photos.

Yeah, it's just awful. I can't believe her site is still up and running.

I just looked at her site. The scary thing is how legit it all looks.

I first heard about it when I read about a few women dying from this diet. VLC diets are scary!
