Hey everyone...typical Sunday morning I am sitting here watching infomercials! I came across the zumba system and it looks like a blast but I was wondering if it actually works. I am now watching the p90x infomercial and know that this one is was to hard core for my way out of shape body. I would really appreciate your feedback if you have used the Zumba program.

Thanks!!

There are a lot of Zumba classes offered here and I am addicted! It's like you're not even working out. Some local instructors have even put off a few 2hour Zumba fundraisers which were amazing!

You can find a local Zumba class near you on the site:

The thing to remember is to have fun..and the more you go the more you will learn the steps.

Give it a try!!!

I've got the DVD set and have enjoyed it although I have absolutely no rhythm whatsoever! Great for burning a lot of calories and just the 20 minute workout had me drinking a lot of water. Definitely worth giving it a go, especially if you enjoy dancing and can move!

i bought the dvd set. I love it! its fun, it makes you happy, and makes you sweat. its kinda low quality production, and sometimes you cant understand beto cause of his accent, and hes a lot cheesy ha ha but its worth it! you should give it a try. the dvd set also comes with a work out for kids with kid instructors. my little brother loves it too.

I dont know about Zumba but I have p90x and let me tell you it is way to hard for the average person to stick to. I found myself crying 15 min into a video because I couldnt do it. Which of course led to me being depressed and eating more. My husband is 180 and he has a hard time with it too. NOT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED UNLESS YOU HAVE VERY HIGH WILLPOWER AND TALK TO YOUR DOC BEFORE!

My gym offers these classes, I've never gone.

But I think I might as well try it. :]
