Default New natural pills

Anyone heard anything about some pills called Hypo-Caloric Tablet (I think that's the name) and Apatrim? The first one says it uses Konjac Root, if that means anything. Apatrim says it's for appetite control. Just wondering if anyone had heard of either of these.

Well, Konjac root is really Glucomannan, which is in no way new. It is basically similar to pectin - a form of fiber. It might help keep you more full, since it is fiber, but there's nothing new or remarkable about it (and you can probably pick it up fairly cheaply if you don't buy it as part of the new "miracle pill"

Apatrim is based on Caralluma Fimbriata Extract (500 mg dosage), which some advertisements are saying is the "next hoodia". But given Hoodia's repuation, I don't think thats a good thing! Basically, no trial has ever proven that it does anything to reduce weight.
