Default Wuyi tea

Girls at work are drinking it. Have you heard of it?

There was just another thread on this subject a few days ago, and probably any # of others if you look back far enough in this forum. It's just plain tea ("oolong"), it's not fattening (if you don't put cream or sugar in it) but it has no special powers or anything, and you can probably find it at the supermarket for a fraction of the price the hypesters are asking for it

Native girl- I will also add my two cents....I've tried it myself, and sadly I wasted $30 dollars on Oolong Tea bags...that's what they are. I wish I never would of bought them. It is NOT enodorsed by Oprah, or other celebs like some sites claim. Don't waste your money.

If you are replacing drinking soda or juice with any kind of tea (plain and using a splenda or whatever) You will lose weight.. not because of the tea but because you are not drinking high calorie sodas.

I am livid!

I signed up for the 60 day money back guarantee trial. Oops! There is a catch. You still have to pay almost $30 for 3 months, even if you chose to return the stuff. You also have to ship the stuff back UPS or FedEx at your cost. I just refused shipment & wrote on package "return to sender". They said they would not refund, if I did that. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and told my bank what had happened. My bank said that they would remove that charge from my account. Then, I contacted Wu-Yi back and told them what I had done with the BBB & my bank. They said if I did not pay the almost $30 for 3 months, I would be in violation of the terms and conditions, and they would pursue payment and proceeded to hang up. I will pay the money, but it is one costly mistake.

UGHHHHHHH!!!!!

To say the very least, stay very far away from these people!!!

Honestly, don't pay the money. You refused shipment. They are sheisters (sp?) selling inexpensive tea at an exorbitant cost.

One reason I like using credit cards for expenses is you can contest a payment.

I wouldn't pursue it either. They might send out a stern letter, but then what? I'd guess that it would cost them more than $30 to try to collect it, so they wouldn't take it any further.

Also, you can get oolong tea at any health food store, mine has it fron $4.99 for a box to $19.99 with one of the company hocking it. The $4.99 box is just another herbal tea company that they carry. I have some in my cabinet and didn't notice any difference.

You can get it even cheaper in the grocery store. It is $2-$3 per box there.

I made the mistake of buying the tea from the internet at 29.99 and days later i found it in the whole food store for 3.99. What a rip off. I have not call to cancel my membership. thank you for reminding me. the taste is a litle bit different though. After researaching for the benefits the good thing a found is that is the same like green tea and black tea. It says that is like putting this two teas together. I wish i would do research before, know its too late. What is contest a payment?I used my credit card.

If you use a credit card, you have the ability for the credit card to investigate false charges on your card. This includes things like being charged for memberships that were cancelled, items not received and refunds not received. Some credit cards (Discover has it) have the ability to contest a charge online but others require you to call or email them.

I am gonna contact my credit card company again & request them to refuse the 3 payments. This is freakin ridiculous!

Thank you for all of your support!
