Default It really hurts!

Well, it's that time of year.......when my hands are killing me! I have tendonitis in both hands and when it gets cold outside, nothing really helps for long. My right hand is driving me crazy, for the last 2 days it's been non-stop. It's taken me twice as long to type and man has exercise been a pain in the rear---not that it isn't already I am just not motivated to do much. My kids have the next couple days off from school, I AM going to play racquetball with them.....I may just have to put my brace on. I haven't even attempted to use my elliptical all week, I need a kick in the butt

Have you tried a chiropractor? He might be able to help with pain relief. When I had tendonitis, they put electrodes and warm moist heat on my arm and it helped. I hate cold weather also. I ache in cold weather. The older I get the worse it gets!

Thanks! I actually talked to someone and they recommended this foot spa thing, I need to look up what it's called and how much. But it has some sorta gel/wax stuff that warms up and it's suppose to be for feet, but they thought it would work great for my hands. Got to do some research! If anyone knows what I'm talking about and has info let me know, thanks.

Hi. When my hands get inflamed from OA, I use the Hot Wax treatment. I bought the machine at Walmart. You just melt the wax and then put your hands in. It feels great because it is nice and hot. You put plastic bags over your hands to keep the wax warmer. Works for me.
