Just joined, here is a little about my self (allot!)-
33 y/o female
6'1 tall
I float 275-290
I have 2 girls, ages,11 & 15
married 10 years
my health..........
had ovarian cancer in 1993
had thyroid cancer in 2003
I have also-rheumatoid arthritis in my knees and ankles,
GERD, mild IBS,
taking meds for depression and anxiety.

When I was 25 I #ed,145
My thyroid went bizzerk-gained way over 100 #'s.

My life is just going day by day, not many friends.
Its hard to connect with some.
This site looks very cool, I read allot of the postings and everyone is nice, courteous and thoughtful-human qualities that is hard to find in people now adays.

Fat (large) people get looked over, left out, ignored. At times I get lonely. I'm sure others do too. Please feel free to write, I will respond.

Hi, Bea. Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you have so many health issues. It's difficult to lose weight when we're distracted by other things. (I'm diabetic and struggle with depression). This is a good place to find support and motivation. You might want to search out an active thread, such as depresion and weight loss, the 100# club or one of the IBS/GERD threads. I post mostly on the dieting with diabetes threads but follow several others.
