Aspie/Autism kids - Parents: do you have difficulty with stress and weight loss?
 

Hey everyone. Do any of you have problems losing weight because of the stress of parenting a child on the autism spectrum? For me, it's not an excuse: I take full accountability for my fatness! But stress is certainly an explanation!

Hi! I have been wanting to reply to you since this was posted, but I have yet to find the time. Even now I'm typing with one hand so I can't reply with the detail I want. I just wanted to say you are not alone! And I will try to find the time to reply with 2 free hands hopefully soon. :)

Yes, I do! Evenings are the hardest for me. I've been doing some good reading, thinking and strategizing on the matter. I'm looking for ways that I can lower my stress in the evenings. I can't control DD's behavior, but I'm trying to control mine. For instance, making simpler dinners makes my evenings easier.
